What We Offer

Core Workshop Components

Glass Selection & Cutting

Learn to choose quality glass, understand color mixing, and master safe cutting techniques. We cover measurement, pattern scaling, and preparing pieces for assembly.

Soldering Fundamentals

Soldering holds your panel together. We'll teach temperature control, flux application, creating clean seams, and fixing common joint problems. Hands-on practice with real equipment.

Design & Planning

A good design starts everything. We'll walk through pattern selection, color balance, scaling for your skill level, and adapting existing designs to work in practice.

Safety & Tools

Proper technique keeps you safe. Learn tool handling, workspace setup, ventilation, protective equipment, and emergency procedures. We don't skip this part.

Weekend Programs That Fit Your Schedule

Most workshops run Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Sessions are structured so you can complete a small panel in one weekend or start a larger project. Classes stay small — we keep groups to 6-8 people maximum.

You're working with real tools and materials from day one. No lectures, no sitting around. Every session involves hands-on practice with experienced instructors watching and helping as you work.

Materials & Tools Provided

You don't need to buy anything to start. All glass, solder, flux, and hand tools are included. We provide safety equipment too — aprons, eye protection, cut-resistant gloves.

Most students take their finished pieces home the same day. That's the goal — you make something real, something you created with your own hands, and you see it finished before you leave.

Why This Approach Works

"You'll make mistakes. That's where learning happens."

We don't hide problems or rush past them. When something goes wrong — and it will — we use it as a teaching moment. You'll understand why it happened and how to fix it next time.

"Real skill takes time, but you'll see progress fast."

By the end of your first weekend, you'll have a finished piece. You'll understand the process from design through assembly. Most students come back for more — either to refine their technique or to try something more ambitious.

"The craft hasn't changed much in centuries."

We teach traditional methods because they work. No shortcuts, no tricks. The same techniques that built cathedral windows still create beautiful panels today. You're learning something real.
